The only issue will be the miner right behind you that respawns. Consider using the scale to wait for the right time to go there. I've been pushed off this platform many times as the lion roars and pushes me back right as I'm landing. Soon after the coin is your first lion rock statue. This will be the second set of scales after a couple of miners. Even constantly jumping while on one is sufficient for safety. They aren't too troubling, you just need to be moving. These will always appear in pairs with the one you're standing on causing the other rise and the one you're on to fall. The other major component here are the gold scales. These roars will have a push similar to a strong wind. It appears they take damage, but it felt inefficient at best if I was dealing any real damage to it. There is no way to completely remove the miners. Additionally, a few seconds after killing the miner, a new one will drop a rope down from above the screen to replace it. If you kill a miner after the throw, the pickaxe will continue off from it's return path off the screen. They'll be aimed to do you current position (which is where they will stop) and then return to the Miner. The Miners will throw their pickaxes like a boomerang. In the mountain pass, there are three enemies: Miners, Flames, and Rock Statues. The first was probably the hardest for me, but that might be more related to the pains of the pacifist run to be honest. Each section presents their own problems especially starting out. The normal run of the level is relatively straightforward.
